I believe the quote was “They taste like cookies” I changed the recipe a bit for my families tastes. I used chocolate protein powder and I added stevia to make it sweeter tasting. The magic ingredient is adding some cinnamon too. I am going to double the recipe next time so the bars are thicker. My idea is to make batches of these, individually cut, wrap and store in the freezer. These will be great snacks before and after soccer practices and games.

My next experiment will be sweet potatoes fries made with olive or coconut oil and roasted in the oven. I will let you know how that goes. : )
