We are continuing to eat clean as a whole family. The girls have had some treats and favorite meals out over the last few weeks. However at home, we continue to have very healthy meals. My youngest daughter lost 5 lbs and my oldest has lost 4 lbs. I am watching them carefully so they maintain a healthy weight for their age. I do believe it was weight they did not need to carry around. We are eating well most days, without feeling deprived.
I have eliminated buying any junk food. We limited our eating out to once a week. Our food bills have dropped by $200.00 a month. We will use the money we save from not purchasing junk food for a future family vacation. I didn’t realize how much I was spending on treats for them as part of a weekly diet.
